The Great Pumpkin Hunt
A monthlong scavenger hunt in Erie MetroParks. A new clue each Thursday in October points to a park and trail where a pumpkin is hidden; find all five and the Great Pumpkin to be eligible for a prize pack.

Each clue names a park and trail. Find the pumpkin, take a photo of yourself next to it, and email your photos to behere@eriemetroparks.org. You need a photo with each of the five pumpkins and the Great Pumpkin to qualify.
Clue dates
- Pumpkin 1: Oct. 1
- Pumpkin 2: Oct. 8
- Pumpkin 3: Oct. 15
- Pumpkin 4: Oct. 22
- Pumpkin 5 and the Great Pumpkin: Oct. 29
The first person to find all six wins a prize pack, and two more winners are drawn at random from everyone who finishes.
The park district's page doesn't give a deadline for sending photos or mention a fee or registration.
