Oak Harbor Apple Festival to bring parade, car show and races this weekend
The Oct. 10–11 festival has no admission fee. Saturday's parade starts at 2 p.m.; Sunday's car show and races take place at separate locations.
The Oak Harbor Apple Festival returns downtown Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 10–11, with a parade, vendors, entertainment and Sunday races.
The Oak Harbor Area Chamber of Commerce confirms the 2026 dates. The festival website says admission is free and a shuttle from the high school parking lot costs $2 per person.
Saturday's Paulette Weirich Memorial Grand Parade starts at 2 p.m. Its 2026 entry form gives the route: from Oak Harbor Junior High School south on Church Street, then east on Main Street to Veterans Park.
Sunday's car, truck and motorcycle show runs from noon to 4 p.m. at Oak Harbor High School, 11661 W. State Route 163. Vehicle registration runs from 10 a.m. to noon; the organizer provides a separate registration link for exhibitors.
The Apple Run returns Sunday with what organizers describe as its original road course. The one-mile children's fun run starts at 1:30 p.m., followed by the 5K at 2 p.m. The dated festival schedule places both races at 315 N. Church St. Runners should use the event's registration page for fees and entry details.
The festival also lists a children's activity area and more than 120 vendors. Free festival admission does not establish that rides, food or other activities are free.
