Sandusky students to present art, spooky stories and music Monday

The Oct. 12 programs at the Regional Center for Arts & Academic Studies begin with an art show at 4:30 p.m., followed by a gifted student showcase at 6 p.m.

Sandusky students will present a fear-themed art show and a showcase of stories, drama and music Monday, Oct. 12, at the Regional Center for Arts & Academic Studies.

Both programs take place at 125 E. Adams St.

The MZ Student Art Gallery's “Phobia...the Fear of...” show runs from 4:30-6 p.m. The district's Oct. 7 deadline to submit artwork has passed.

At 6 p.m., the center will host its Fall Gifted Family Focus Workshop and Showcase, titled “Frights, Fate, and Frets.” Fifth and sixth graders will perform spooky stories, Greek tragedy and live guitar music, according to the district's announcement.
